Tiny Pots (4)

Created on: Sun, August 30, 2020
Tiny pots take the same amount of labor as making large pots. These are thrown "off the hump," a term used by potters for drawing up small balls of clay from a large lump and forming little pots on the wheel that are cut from the hump and later trimmed and decorated. They are all under 4" tall. The vases give tiny flowers a special receptacle and a focus for meditation.
