Short Artist Statement
I make unusual artistic bowls from burls and gnarly pieces of wood. My bowls are very different from what you might expect.
Extended Artist Statement
My bowls are very different from what you might expect. They are turned on a lathe using hand held tools. They show the amazing beauty of wood from the North Shore of Lake Superior. Most of my bowls are unsymmetrical and have a natural bark edge. They are mostly for artistic display but many can be used to display and serve food.
