100 day challenge, Deb Birkeland 2021 (13)

The majestic movement of waves on Lake Superior fascinates me as an artist. I am exploring various ways of capturing light, shadow, color and rhythmic patterns that read as waves in watercolor, acrylics and oil. Much of my work in oil is done with a palate knife and blending brush, and lean toward a more abstract presentation. This album offers some of these paintings and discoveries.
