VAHLE FINE ART is a working studio and gallery for artist Tim Vahle. Tim is a landscape and portrait painter, and can usually be found painting “en plein air” (outside) in and around the north shore. He offers original oil paintings, prints and cards

Extended Artist Statement

Tim finds moments of precious, delicate beauty in the natural world as the inspiration for his work by practicing the ancient Japanese tradition of “Shinrin Yoku” (Forest Bathing) in various locations around the country, including Arizona, Texas, and his favorite location, the north shore of Minnesota. Tim produces paintings that evoke a sense of wonder and awe, and that serve as a reminder that there is beauty all around us, if we only look for it.
