Description
My quilts are organic. starting with a concept or sketch and color selection. Cotton fabrics are individually hand cut with a rotary cutter and machine-pieced. Quilt designs emerge as I try out fabrics and compositions. The quilt, which won an award at the White Bear Art Center's 2021 juried art show, was quilted on a sewing machine with dense, organic stitching with variegated thread. It is hung with 3M Command Strips. Created in 2021.
